Ortler Bike Marathon
Vinschgau is known for its fantastic bike tours. Lake Reschen Run
Sport meets panorama. One of the most beautiful running events of South Tyrol is the Lake Reschen Run, which goes around the mysterious sunk church tower. The racetrack is mainly flat and takes you along the lakeside roads through the picturesque scenery. Participants start in 5 blocks and complete the 15.3 km long track on asphalt and rubble. The Stilfserjoch Cycling Day challenges sportsy ambitions in an impressive way: more than 4000 cycling enthusiasts conquer 1859 m of altitude in 48 bends. And it is always so: being there means everything and the car-free way down the hill over the Umbrailpass is rewarding for the efforts.
